Boston Park Roving

Boston has been quite an experience thus far.  Though I haven't had the opportunity to document much of it before today, I'll surely take several hundred pictures over the weekend while exploring the city.  (Stay tuned!) We've taken in some great local brewery food, sushi, and last night I tasted some ravioli that could probably be deemed "life changing"...I even ate the left-overs for breakfast, it was SO good!  My co-worker on site and I also took the evening to explore a local park last night, which was lovely.  Returning to Dallas becomes more difficult each week after seeing more and more of the beauty of God's handywork in nature.  But as awe-inspiring as it can be, I'm reminded that even the most beautiful places and things of this world are only a glimpse, a shadow, of His majesty.  What a wonderful god we serve!

Here are a few shots I snapped during the hike:

I also learned that the ORIGINAL Dunkin Donuts is only a stones throw from the agency we are training at for these three weeks, so I stopped by this morning for some coffee :)  Mmmm mmm!

Out and About in Arizona

My first outing for work has been to the great state of Arizona. It's hotter than Dallas here, but the scenery offers a great deal more. I have taken the opportunity to go on a couple outings....one where I just hopped in the car and drove until the pavement ended, and one involving a bit more planning--Sedona. The hike involved some considerable climbing, but it was worth it when I reached Devil's Bridge. The view was spectacular and awe-inspiring, and since a picture is worth a thousand words, I'll stop talking :) Enjoy!
